Spread the love

What is Niacinamide:

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin) — one of the eight B vitamins that our body needs for good health. It helps cellular activity with important chemical reactions.

What is it used for:

It is an important ingredient in an anti-ageing, clarifying product as it works with the natural substances in our skin effectively renewing and restoring the surface of the skin.

Why we love it:

Among its very most impactful effect is that it helps recover from past damage to the skin. The positive effect are so many that we had to draw up a list:
– It can be used in complex formulae containing retinol, peptides, hyaluronic acid, AHAs, BHA, vitamin C, and all types of antioxidants.
– It is non-sensitizing
– It is well tolerated by all skin types
– It helps improve the skin’s natural production of skin-strengthening ceramides
– Its topical application hydrates the dryest skin!
– It normalizes pore lining improving open pores
– It can be used around eyes
– It helps minimise under eye circles
– It helps plump up crow’s feet

What’s not to love! Hurray. You can add niacinamide to any product ritual that you follow as its easy to layer and it being homogenous with all hard working ingredients it generally does not present any irritation or counter reaction.
